Rescuers recovered her body from al-Tiri, with her employer, Al-Akhbar, confirming her death. Earlier reports indicated Ms. Khalil and freelance photographer Zeinab Faraj were injured covering developments near al-Tayri when their vehicle and a house they sought refuge in were targeted. Rescuers faced obstruction from Israeli forces while attempting to reach Ms. Khalil.<\/p>\n
