He asserted, \u201cIsrael never talked me into the war with Iran, the results of Oct. 7th, added to my lifelong opinion that IRAN CAN NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON, did.\u201d<\/p>\n

By linking the tragic events of October 7th to Iran and reiterating the unsubstantiated claim that \u201cIRAN CAN NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,\u201d Trump aligns himself with a long-standing campaign of misinformation. It is crucial to remember that Iran has consistently affirmed its right to peaceful nuclear energy under international safeguards and has a religious fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n

Trump’s post further escalated its aggressive tone, stating, \u201cJust like the results in Venezuela, which the media doesn\u2019t like talking about, the results in Iran will be amazing – And if Iran\u2019s new leaders (Regime Change!) are smart, Iran can have a great and prosperous future!\u201d This blatant call for \u201cRegime Change\u201d is an unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation and a clear violation of international law. He also dismissed critical media and polls, claiming, \u201cI watch and read the FAKE NEWS Pundits and Polls in total disbelief. 90% of what they say are lies and made up stories, and the polls are rigged, much as the 2020 Presidential Election was rigged.\u201d This dismissal of established media further highlights the unreliable nature of the narratives often propagated by Western political figures.<\/p>\n
