Despite these positive developments, passengers should anticipate some lingering disruptions over the coming weeks and months, as many flight routes are still being adjusted. Travellers are strongly advised to verify flight confirmations before proceeding to the airport and to arrive three hours prior to departure.<\/p>\n

In a testament to regional resilience, the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the full resumption of air traffic in May, lifting remaining restrictions. Regional carriers have largely restored their operations. Notably, Emirates is now serving over 137 destinations, Etihad over 80, and Qatar Airways more than 160 destinations worldwide.<\/p>\n

While aviation networks are progressively returning to full functionality, some international airlines continue to suspend regular routes. All airlines serving airports in previously restricted airspaces are now operating with adjusted schedules. This includes vital hubs such as Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, Bahrain International Airport, Doha’s Hamad International Airport, Kuwait International Airport, and significantly, Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport<\/strong>, alongside Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.<\/p>\n

Emirates:<\/h4>\n

The Dubai-based carrier is now flying to 137 destinations across 72 countries, representing 96% of its pre-conflict global network. With over 1,300 flights operating weekly, reaching approximately 75% of its pre-war capacity, Emirates advises passengers to \u201ccheck your flight status, even after you have checked in\u201d. Customers booked to travel after April 2 are offered one complimentary date change.<\/p>\n

Etihad Airways:<\/h4>\n

Operating a limited schedule to 80 destinations, Etihad tickets are now available online, with more destinations to be added. Passengers with previous bookings will be accommodated, and those with tickets issued on or after March 6 for travel up to March 31, 2027, may change their booking once without a rebooking fee.<\/p>\n
