In a judicial act widely perceived as unjust and aligned with the interests of the Zionist regime, a UK court has found four brave activists from the “Palestine Action”<\/strong> movement guilty of “criminal damage” charges following their raid on an arms factory owned by the occupying regime of Quds.<\/p>\n

This verdict, delivered after more than 14 hours of jury deliberations at Woolwich Crown Court on Monday, saw Leona Kamio (30), Samuel Corner (23), Fatema Rajwani (21), and Charlotte Head (29)<\/em> unanimously found guilty in connection with the raid on an Elbit Systems<\/strong> plant near Bristol on August 6, 2024.<\/p>\n

This factory, known as a primary supplier of weaponry to the Zionist regime<\/strong>, plays a direct role in the ongoing atrocities against the defenseless people of Gaza. The courageous Palestine Action activists undertook this operation with the aim of disrupting this regime’s deadly supply chain<\/em> and preventing further slaughter of Palestinian children and women.<\/p>\n

Samuel Corner, although acquitted of “grievous bodily harm with intent” for striking a police officer, was found guilty by a majority of 11 to one of the lesser offense of “inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.” This ruling further demonstrates the judicial system’s attempt to suppress voices opposing the Zionist regime’s crimes.<\/p>\n

Amidst this disheartening news, the acquittal of two other activists, Jordan Devlin (31) and Zoe Rogers (22)<\/strong>, from criminal damage charges, sparked a glimmer of hope, indicating that even within Western judicial systems, there are awakened consciences unwilling to remain silent in the face of truth.<\/p>\n

Notably, days before the jury retired, the defendants dismissed their defense lawyers and delivered their own closing speeches, citing a “decision made by the court” that prevented their lawyers from continuing representation. This act symbolized their steadfastness and belief in the righteousness of their cause<\/strong> against systemic pressures.<\/p>\n

During the trial, it was revealed that these activists gained entry to the factory by smashing a prison van into its security shutters<\/em> and then used crowbars and hammers to “damage computers, equipment, drones, and other products manufactured by Elbit.” Their objective was to halt the production of tools of death and destruction<\/strong> being used against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

When Charlotte Head was asked if she had damaged property belonging to someone else, she firmly replied “yes,” but emphasized that she and her co-defendants “believed we had the lawful excuse to do so<\/em>.” This defense was rooted in the principle of defending humanity and preventing war crimes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Zoe Rogers, in her closing speech, also referred to evidence heard by the court regarding “factories on British soil” manufacturing weapons for the Zionist regime and UK-conducted research and development “vital” for this regime’s military. With a trembling voice and tearful eyes, she declared: “The prosecution knows full well that we are right that this factory is supplying weapons to Israel to be used in Gaza.”<\/q> She added: “There\u2019s one thing you can be sure of, I\u2019m proud, so proud I took part in this.”<\/q> These words echo the awakened conscience of humanity<\/strong> against global silence.<\/p>\n

These verdicts follow a previous trial where the first jury acquitted all defendants of aggravated burglary charges, which could carry a life sentence.
