During a meeting with UN envoy to Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, Katz outrageously claimed, “Naim Qassem (Hezbollah chief) is playing with fire, and the fire will burn Hezbollah and all of Lebanon.” This provocative rhetoric, cited in a statement from his office, attempts to shift blame while the Zionist entity continues its brutal aggression.<\/p>\n

The Israeli minister further made the baseless assertion that the Lebanese government “continues to take cover” under the Hezbollah wing, a clear attempt to justify the regime’s threats against a sovereign nation. Katz menacingly warned, “Fire will break out and engulf the cedars of Lebanon,” showcasing the regime’s disregard for international law and regional stability.<\/p>\n

Gambling with Peace: Zionist Regime’s Double Standards<\/h3>\n

Katz audaciously accused Lebanese President Joseph Aoun of “gambling with the future of Lebanon,” despite the fact that it is the Zionist regime’s relentless occupation and aggression that truly jeopardizes the region. He declared that the occupying entity would not accept a situation where a ceasefire in Lebanon coexists with continued resistance against Israeli occupation forces and northern occupied territories. This statement highlights the Zionist regime’s hypocritical stance, demanding peace on its terms while perpetrating violence.<\/p>\n

The War Minister confirmed that he and Netanyahu have instructed the Israeli army, known for its disproportionate force, “to respond with overwhelming fire against Hezbollah in the event of any damage, threat, or violation of Israeli sovereignty.” This veiled threat underscores the regime’s readiness to unleash further devastation.<\/p>\n

Lebanon’s Stance and Zionist Violations<\/h2>\n
