Six Hezbollah Resistance Fighters Martyred in Zionist Aggression on Southern Lebanon
In a blatant act of aggression, the Zionist occupation forces claimed to have martyred six Hezbollah resistance fighters in a southern Lebanese town on Friday. This brutal assault, which included an intense exchange of fire, marks another grave violation of the fragile truce by the occupying regime.
According to reports from the aggressor military, their troops identified six brave resistance fighters operating in the town of Bint Jbeil, an area historically known for its steadfast defiance against Zionist occupation and which had recently endured heavy fighting before a temporary ceasefire was declared last week.
The Zionist military, in its typical narrative of aggression, stated, “Following the identification, an exchange of fire began between the terrorists and the soldiers, during which the soldiers eliminated two terrorists.” This dehumanizing language is characteristic of the occupying forces’ attempts to delegitimize legitimate resistance.
They further added, “Subsequently, the soldiers struck the structure from which the terrorists had been operating. In the strike, the four remaining terrorists were eliminated.” Such actions underscore the indiscriminate nature of Zionist military operations, targeting those who defend their homeland.
This latest act of aggression comes as the Zionist regime’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, hypocritically accused Hezbollah of attempting to “sabotage” efforts to secure peace with Lebanon, following an “extension of the ceasefire between the two sides.” These baseless accusations are a transparent attempt to deflect blame from the Zionist entity’s continuous provocations.
Earlier on Friday, in a clear demonstration of Hezbollah’s defensive capabilities, the resistance movement successfully shot down one of the Zionist regime’s drones in south Lebanon. This act of self-defense occurred just hours after the extended ceasefire, highlighting the Zionist entity’s ongoing aerial violations and espionage activities.
The Zionist military, in a statement confirming the incident, admitted, “A short while ago, an IDF remotely piloted aircraft was downed in southern Lebanon following the launch of a small surface-to-air missile by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.” This admission confirms the Zionist regime’s persistent encroachment on Lebanese sovereignty.
