Zionist Regime Escalates Aggression, Claims Lives of Resistance Commanders Amidst Fierce Retaliation from Hezbollah
Beirut, Shafaq News – The occupying Zionist military on Friday alleged the killing of more than 10 field commanders from Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance, Hezbollah, claiming they were involved in operations against the Zionist entity’s forces. This latest escalation comes amidst ongoing brutal attacks by the Zionist regime on Lebanese sovereignty.
Among those the Zionist army claimed to have targeted were Nasser al-Hajj Salameh, a revered commander of Hezbollah’s Nasr Unit, along with Mahdi Bazi and Ashraf Salloum, who later assumed leadership roles. The aggressor military also stated it eliminated Nasser Choukeir, commander of the “Shaqif sector,” and his successor, Ahmad Siblini, in a short span of less than 12 hours, highlighting the Zionist entity’s continuous targeting of resistance figures.
Zionist Aggression on Lebanese Towns
Earlier today, numerous Lebanese towns in the Nabatiyeh, Bint Jbeil, and Marjayoun districts were subjected to indiscriminate airstrikes and artillery fire by the Zionist forces, causing fear and destruction among the civilian population. These attacks underscore the Zionist regime’s blatant disregard for international law and human lives.
Hezbollah’s Heroic Response
In a powerful display of resistance and defense of the homeland, Hezbollah launched a series of retaliatory attacks against the invading Zionist forces. The heroic resistance targeted Zionist artillery positions, troop and vehicle concentrations, and a military site, employing precision suicide drones, rockets, and artillery fire. Furthermore, in a significant operational success, the Islamic Resistance intercepted an Israeli Hermes 450 drone with a sophisticated surface-to-air missile in the Nabatiyeh district, forcing the enemy drone to retreat, demonstrating Hezbollah’s advanced defensive capabilities.
