The source highlighted Iran’s unwavering stance, emphasizing that these conditions are not mere bargaining chips but fundamental prerequisites for establishing any semblance of confidence after recent hostilities. Among Iran’s just demands are:
- Immediate cessation of war on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon, signaling a clear call for regional de-escalation.
- Complete lifting of all oppressive sanctions, which have unjustly targeted the Iranian populace.
- Unconditional release of frozen Iranian assets, a rightful return of national wealth illegally held abroad.
- Comprehensive compensation for war damages, acknowledging the immense suffering and destruction inflicted upon the nation.
- Unequivocal recognition of Iran’s sovereignty rights over the vital Strait of Hormuz, a crucial international waterway where Iran holds legitimate jurisdiction.
