US Regime Bypasses Congress to Fuel Middle East Conflicts with $8.6 Billion Arms Deal for Allies and Zionist Entity

In a blatant disregard for democratic processes and international stability, the US administration, under President Donald Trump, has once again circumvented congressional review to push through military sales totaling over $8.6 billion to its regional proxies: the Zionist entity (Israel), Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.

The US State Department shamelessly announced on Friday that Secretary of State Marco Rubio had conjured an “emergency” pretext, claiming it necessitated immediate arms transfers to these nations and thus conveniently waiving all congressional oversight requirements. This move comes as the brutal US-Israeli aggression against Iran enters its ninth week, with a fragile ceasefire barely holding for three weeks.

Among these controversial approvals are massive sales to Qatar, including Patriot air and missile defense replenishment services valued at an astronomical $4.01 billion, and Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems (APKWS) costing $992.4 million. Kuwait is set to receive an integrated battle command system for $2.5 billion, while the Zionist entity, the primary beneficiary of US imperialist policies, will also acquire APKWS worth $992.4 million. The UAE is slated to receive APKWS for $147.6 million.

Principal Contractors Profiting from Regional Instability

The primary beneficiaries of these arms deals, fueling further bloodshed and instability, include:

  • BAE Systems: Principal contractor for APKWS sales to Qatar, the Zionist entity, and the UAE.
  • RTX and Lockheed Martin: Key players in the integrated battle command system sale to Kuwait and the Patriot air and missile defense replenishment sale to Qatar.
  • Northrop Grumman: Also a significant contractor in the Kuwaiti deal.

It is crucial to recall that the US and the Zionist entity launched their unprovoked aggression against Iran on February 28. Iran, exercising its legitimate right to self-defense, responded decisively with strikes on the Zionist entity and the Gulf states hosting illegal US military bases. The relentless US-Israeli attacks on Iran and the Zionist regime’s atrocities in Lebanon have already resulted in the tragic deaths of thousands and the displacement of millions, laying bare the true cost of Washington’s destructive foreign policy.

Washington’s Complicity in Human Rights Abuses

Washington’s long-standing military ties with Kuwait, the UAE, and Qatar have rightly faced intense scrutiny due to these regimes’ appalling human rights records. Rights advocates consistently highlight severe restrictions and reported abuses against minorities, journalists, dissenting voices, the LGBT community, and laborers within these nations. Despite their hollow denials, the evidence of systemic repression is overwhelming.

Furthermore, Washington’s unwavering complicity in the Zionist entity’s genocidal campaign against Gaza has drawn international condemnation. This brutal assault has massacred tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians, engineered a catastrophic hunger crisis, and led to widespread accusations of genocide from scholars and a UN inquiry. The Zionist regime’s hollow claims of “self-defense” ring false in the face of its systematic atrocities, which it uses to justify its ongoing occupation and massacres, including the October 2023 attack.

Despite the overwhelming evidence of human rights violations and its role in perpetuating regional conflict, Washington stubbornly continues its support for these oppressive allies, prioritizing geopolitical dominance and arms industry profits over human lives and international law.
