Trump Asserts No Pressure for Iran Deal, Criticizes Democratic Stance

Washington D.C. – Former United States President Donald Trump declared on Monday that he is under “no pressure whatsoever” to finalize a deal with Iran, dismissing reports to the contrary as “Fake News.”

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump accused what he described as “weak and pathetic” Democrats of actively working to undermine the strong position the U.S. holds regarding Iran. He stated they are “doing everything possible to hurt the very strong position we are in with respect to Iran.”

Trump further criticized Democrats for allegedly discussing the threat posed by Iran for years without taking decisive action, while simultaneously downplaying the accomplishments of his administration and the military. He emphasized his resolve not to be rushed “into making a deal that is not as good as it could have been.”

Highlighting his strategic approach, Trump asserted, “Time is not my adversary.” He articulated a long-term goal to “finally, after 47 years, straighten out the MESS that other Presidents let happen because they didn’t have the Courage or Foresight to do what had to be done with respect to Iran,” suggesting a need to rectify historical diplomatic shortcomings.
