The semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported early Monday, citing an informed source, that US President Donald Trump’s rejection of Iran’s response to an American peace plan aimed at ending the conflict “doesn’t matter at all.”
The source emphasized that “No one in Iran writes proposals to please Trump,” asserting that Iran’s negotiating team formulates plans exclusively based on “the rights of the Iranian people,” as reported by Tasnim.
Furthermore, the source stated that if Trump found the Iranian proposal unsatisfactory, “then it is naturally better.”
The source also criticized Trump for rejecting reality, attributing his continuous “losing to Iran” to this stance.
Trump had previously stated on his Truth Social platform on Sunday that he had reviewed the response from Iran’s “so-called representatives” and deemed it “totally unacceptable.”
