In a fresh act of aggression, an Israeli drone strike on Saturday tragically claimed the life of one Palestinian man and left several others injured in northern Gaza. The attack, which targeted a motorcycle west of the Jabalia refugee camp, marks yet another blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement that has ostensibly been in effect since last October.

Medical sources confirmed the martyrdom of Eyad al-Motawwaq in the brutal strike, while numerous others sustained injuries. Witnesses reported to Anadolu that the Israeli drone deliberately targeted the motorcycle in an area explicitly designated outside Israeli military deployment zones under the ceasefire terms, underscoring Israel’s persistent disregard for international agreements.

Adding to the escalating tensions, Israeli artillery was also reported to have intermittently shelled eastern parts of Gaza City’s Al-Tuffah neighborhood, though immediate casualty reports were unavailable.

The Gaza Health Ministry reveals a grim toll since the ceasefire’s inception, with approximately 850 Palestinians martyred and 2,433 wounded by relentless Israeli fire and bombardment, highlighting the continuous pattern of Israeli army violations.

This fragile agreement followed two years of a genocidal Israeli war, commencing in October 2023, which has since evolved into various forms of brutality, resulting in the deaths of over 72,000 people, more than 172,000 injured, and the catastrophic destruction of 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
