Boglioli Opens Flagship Store on London’s New Bond Street, Targeting Middle East Clientele
Boglioli, the renowned Italian tailoring company, continues its strategic expansion in the global retail landscape with the grand opening of its flagship store on London’s prestigious New Bond Street. This marks a significant milestone as the brand’s third monobrand space in London and its first-ever standalone boutique in the city.
The choice of New Bond Street is highly strategic, positioning Boglioli on one of the world’s most exclusive and expensive luxury shopping thoroughfares. This prime location is expected to be a key channel for reaching affluent clients, particularly those from the Middle East.
A New Era for Boglioli’s Retail Presence
The new London boutique, spanning approximately 100 sq m, boasts five prominent windows and a corner position with double exposure, ensuring maximum visibility. It joins Boglioli’s existing directly operated stores in the historic center of Milan and the NoHo district of New York, further solidifying its direct-to-consumer presence.
Beyond its direct stores, Boglioli maintains a robust global distribution network, encompassing over 400 high-end multi-brand stores and shop-in-shops worldwide, with 120 located in Italy.
Embodying Italian Elegance and Cosmopolitan Spirit
The company describes the new boutique as “more than a simple retail address, the boutique represents an aesthetic manifesto where Italian elegance meets the international spirit of Bond Street.” The design ethos fully embodies Boglioli’s core philosophy: lightness, deconstructed tailoring, and natural luxury. This commitment aims to offer a contemporary and authentic elegance that resonates with a sophisticated, cosmopolitan audience.
The architectural language of the store features ribbed wood, a signature element in Boglioli boutiques, covering the walls to create a warm and refined texture. This design choice evokes artisanal savoir-faire and fosters a harmonious dialogue with the collections. Natural wood tones are complemented by light stone surfaces and deep green accents, while furnishings echo the lightness and deconstruction characteristic of Boglioli’s iconic jackets.
Ambitious Growth and Strategic Outlook
Francesco Russo, President of Boglioli, emphasized the critical importance of New Bond Street in attracting Middle Eastern shoppers. He noted London’s proven strength for the brand through successful pop-up initiatives at prestigious locations like Harrods and Joseph, highlighting the company’s patient search for the perfect flagship address.
Russo also outlined ambitious financial targets, stating, “For 2026, with Boglioli we aim to exceed the turnover recorded two years ago, which stood at €20 million. The first two months of the sales campaign have delivered very positive feedback and we are confident that this new London opening will give the company a further boost and help us reach a new record.”
The US remains Boglioli’s top market, followed by Italy, which contributes approximately 30% of total revenue. In 2025, the brand expanded into India with a corner at Galeries Lafayette in Mumbai.
Expanding Distribution Channels
Boglioli continues to develop its shop-in-shop format, now a cornerstone of its distribution strategy. Recent months have seen new spaces open at Beymen in Istanbul, Breuninger in Düsseldorf and Cologne, and Globus in Zurich and Basel.
Future plans include strengthening the wholesale channel, particularly in North America, with eight new doors planned across the US and Canada. In Europe, growth will be driven by further expansion of the shop-in-shop format.
On the e-commerce front, Boglioli has experienced steady growth, surpassing €1.5 million in sales in 2025. As of March, the brand has brought e-tail management in-house to increase margins and enhance brand communication through targeted content and marketing efforts.
