Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Scott Brownrigg, a leading architectural practice, has announced the strategic appointment of Nawaf Alanazi as its new Middle East Director. This move underscores the firm’s unwavering commitment to expanding its operations and project portfolio across Saudi Arabia and the broader region.
Mr. Alanazi, a seasoned professional with over 12 years of extensive experience in engineering consultancy, will be based at Scott Brownrigg’s Riyadh studio. His pivotal role will encompass spearheading regional operations, driving robust business development initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of major projects throughout the Middle East.
His impressive career trajectory includes significant tenures at prominent international firms. Alanazi spent four years at Buro Happold, commencing as a mechanical design engineer graduate in Riyadh in 2015 before transitioning to Dubai. He also contributed to AtkinsRealis for two years between 2019 and 2021. More recently, he served as a client lead at WSP’s Middle East division from 2022 to 2023 and held the position of Middle East Director at the Spanish practice Morph Estudio for seven months in 2024.
Commenting on the appointment, Scott Brownrigg emphasized that Alanazi’s arrival signifies its “long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.”
