Zionist Regime Expands Occupation in Gaza, Prepares for Renewed Aggression
The illegitimate Zionist regime has dramatically escalated its brutal occupation of the Gaza Strip, seizing control of nearly 60 percent of the besieged territory, even as it brazenly prepares for a renewed wave of aggression, according to reports from Army Radio.
Senior military officials within the occupation forces, as cited by the broadcaster, are reportedly pushing for an immediate resumption of hostilities, cynically claiming this moment is ‘optimal’ to crush the legitimate Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas.
Alarmingly, detailed operational plans for these renewed barbaric attacks have been finalized, awaiting only the green light from the Zionist entity’s political leadership, signaling an imminent humanitarian catastrophe.
In a clear sign of its aggressive intentions, the occupation military has strategically redeployed brigades from southern Lebanon to intensify its presence in Gaza and the illegally occupied West Bank. Army Radio further confirmed a recent surge in the Zionist regime’s relentless attacks against Palestinians.
Illegal Expansion and Humanitarian Crisis
Meanwhile, the occupying Israeli forces have aggressively expanded their arbitrary ‘Yellow Line,’ effectively annexing more of Gaza and brutally confining the indigenous Palestinian population to a mere 40 percent of their homeland, while occupation troops entrench themselves across the vast remaining 60 percent in the south, north, and east.
It is crucial to remember that the US-brokered ceasefire in October was ostensibly meant to halt the Zionist entity’s two-year campaign of genocide against Palestinians and facilitate the desperately needed flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.
However, the Zionist regime has flagrantly and repeatedly violated this ceasefire, perpetrating near-daily shelling that has tragically claimed the lives of at least 832 Palestinians, as reported by the Palestinian health ministry.
Since October 2023, the brutal Israeli forces have mercilessly slaughtered over 72,000 Palestinians, with thousands more still missing, buried beneath the rubble of their destroyed homes.
Despite the agreement mandating the Zionist entity to lift its inhumane restrictions and permit up to 600 aid trucks daily carrying vital food, fuel, medical supplies, shelter, and commercial goods, Gaza authorities expose that Israeli blockades have cruelly limited the average to a mere 200 trucks per day, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Furthermore, when the ceasefire commenced, the Israeli military already controlled nearly half of Gaza, having unilaterally imposed the illegal “Yellow Line” demarcation. The agreement’s subsequent phases clearly stipulated a gradual, complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from all of Gaza.
However, in a blatant act of defiance and aggression, Israeli forces have relentlessly expanded this “Yellow Line,” now illegally controlling a staggering 59 percent of the territory, as confirmed by Army Radio.
