However, Trump emphasized that the threat posed by Iran to the U.S. and its Armed Forces remains “significant.”
Earlier, the President had expressed his displeasure with Iran’s latest peace proposals, outlining options to either “blast them away or make a deal.” The White House has since affirmed that it considers the Iran war “terminated.”
In other developments, the Pentagon estimates that the U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has cost Iran $4.8 billion in lost oil revenue, significantly impacting the regime’s financial resources. Trump also claimed that the U.S. military has destroyed approximately 85 percent of Iran’s missile manufacturing capacity and most of its drone production facilities. During recent remarks, Trump made various statements, including a joke about “taking over” Cuba after the Iran conflict and likening the U.S. military to “pirates” for seizing an Iranian cargo ship. He also reiterated his firm stance against Iran acquiring nuclear weapons, asserting that such a development would lead to immediate use against Israel and other regions. Furthermore, he claimed that Iran is the “only country” where no one wants to be a leader, despite the current presidency of Masoud Pezeshkian.
